Conor Owens is a Dublin author and the author of As Above So Below: Oak Island and the True Story of How the Stars Revealed the Templars’ Final Secret, published by Weststar Books.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

An Irish author living in Dublin, he set out to understand why the theory of the Knights Templar concealing something of value on Oak Island, Nova Scotia, in approximately 1200 — hundreds of years before Columbus — might make any sense. Initially a sceptic, he pulled on that thread expecting it to come away in his hand. It did not. He got an answer, and the answer was better than the question, and then the thread simply kept coming.

What followed was an investigation into a mystery that had defeated successive treasure hunters for more than 230 years. The trail runs from the power struggles of medieval Europe to the present day, by way of an English duke who died of the plague, a French naval disaster, a man who bought himself out of slavery with an axe, and an old woman in New York told for fifty years that she was chasing nothing.

As Above So Below is his first book. It publishes the method and the evidence that point to the coordinates on the ground and what lies buried there. The calculations and the code behind the solution are published in full so readers can test it themselves and be left in no doubt. A completely unexpected outcome to a 230-year-old treasure mystery. Fact really is stranger than fiction.
